1 month ago today, my little nephew kai was born amidst the gale force winds and torrential rains of southern california's winter storms. in his precious first month of life, he would weather several more storms which he would combat and conquer, immediately proving himself to be the strongest and most resilient, not to mention most handsome, member of our family. it's all upwards for this kid from here on in. welcome to the jungle little one.
