first, i read a bit of keith richard's 'life' around the part where godard was making 'sympathy for the devil', a film kind of about the recording of the song but not really. then i had to watch the thing, it was on my mind. it's kind of great, surely inspiring and weird in equal measure. my favorite shot is a pan across these posters. the thing i love about godard is he's not afraid to try anything. doesn't really care if it goes together or not. that's inspiring, no?
